However, because the modem is built directly into the dish itself — which is often placed metres away from your van — WiFi range can be limited. This distance, along with signal-blocking insulation and cladding, can result in slower speeds or spotty connections inside your caravan. That’s where the Mini Access Point comes in.

With WiFi 6 technology and throughput speeds of up to 1,800 Mbps, it offers faster performance than the Starlink Mini’s built-in WiFi 5 system. Installation is simple. The Mini Access Point runs on a standard 12V power supply via a cigarette plug, making it easy to mount in a cupboard, on a shelf, or near any 12V socket.
